This seat had one window, plenty of legroom and under seat space based on how the seat in front is built. It is better than most narrow body commercial planes. It had smaller overhead bins, but wider seats which were nice. The seat is a little hard, but was not bad for a three hour flight. I would prefer this plane to a domestic 737 or 757 any time.

Pro= nobody reclining into your lap, Con=Less leg room because of bulkhead. Con= left side and ALOT less overhead storage and no underseat in 1A.

This is a bulkhead seat by itself on the left side of the plane. There’s a lot of legroom, but no under seat storage. The seat itself was comfortable. Easy access to the lavatory. There were no video monitors, so all entertainment was on your personal device. The window was right at my shoulder, so my neck got a little stiff looking out. Overhead storage was sufficient.

United now has a direct flight from SFO to MSN with a length of just about four hours. I chose the flight/plane because there are only two seats per side vs the usual three seat configuration. The plane itself is fine and the legroom in seat 7A is very good. However, the seats in this plane are very uncomfortable. The back has almost no padding and it is akin to leaning against a sheet of plywood. Can’t put my finger on it, but there is something off with these seats, which made for a long, unpleasant flight. I might take this plane again for an hour trip, but definitely won’t for a four hour flight.

Took this flight from ORF to EWR (short flight) and it was very comfortable. We were in regular economy. I have lower back problems and these «newer» «slimline» seats are surprisingly comfortable; I didn’t even feel the need to recline my seat to get comfortable. I didn’t nap so I don’t know what it’s like for that but you would definitely need a neck pillow to get a little shut-eye. I’m 5’10» and the leg room was good as well. I probably had 3 inches between my knee and the seat in front. There’s a movable center arm rest. This seat is in between windows. I’m very picky as I fly a lot and used to work for an airline. This was a very comfortable flight.

This plane has lots of good reviews for its first class seats (4th row not quite as good). Seat 1A on the EMB-175 is my most favorite seat in any of United’s narrow-body planes (excluding the 757 which has flatbed seats). I have neck problems, and, unlike a previous reviewer, I did not have any problem looking out of its window.

Great flight! The Embraer E175 and other E-Jets are great aircraft. The seats are wider than average and the cabin has a nice, open feel. Also, the aisle is wider than most other aircraft, which makes it easier to board and exit. Overhead bins are good, much better than the CRJ aircraft which sometimes fly this route. This flight was operated by SkyWest Airlines. Overall, a great aircraft! The E175 sets the new standard for regional flights.

This is the best seat on this plane. It has the most legroom I’ve ever seen on a domestic flight. I’m 6′ tall and there was still a good 2 feet of space between my knee and the seat in front, which was more than you get in first class. Plus you can store a bag under the seat in front of you, since there is only a cloth divider.

Brand new plane. Seats are wide, Economy Plus appeared to have more legroom than the 34″ advertised. You would think the plane would be ideal, however the seats have virtually no padding, and the headrests end way too low. I am 6′ tall and the seatback came to the top of my neck.

Window was offset enough to have to lean back to look out. Leg room was good, even with a bag on the floor in front of me. Decent room for wide shoulders even with the bulkhead. Was on this aircraft for a total of 4+ hours due to ground delays and I found it to be comfortable.

Love this jet. Wide seats, good legroom, big windows. The windows for row 12 are listed as «misaligned» but they are really nonexistent. The space next to your seat is a wide blank wall and the windows I would more attribute to the rows in front and behind you.

Generally good seat. Decent legroom and pitch, but the padding is definitely firm and thin. Good window position if you like to watch the wing movement. Most economy rows ahead have partially-obstructed windows.

It’s certainly worth upgrading if you can. The seats in economy look very narrow. Seat 3D was comfortable and wide and I appreciated the fresh fruit, snacks and alcohol on offer.

The seat wasn’t bad — there was adequate legroom. The problem was that there was a blast of cold — no, frigid — air coming from the side panel. Not the controllable air nozzle embedded in the light panel — the non-controllable side of the airplane. I would strongly recommend that if you take this seat, wear an arctic parka. Also a knit watch cap. And bring a blanket, too. The FA was clueless about what could be done about it (nothing). Other passengers were fine. It took me an hour to thaw out after landing.

Been on this aircraft several times and it is the least comfortable on any plane I’ve been on. There is no padding on the back which makes for a miserable flight of over a couple of hours. I avoid this plane on United flights if at all possible.

I travelled business class and I used seat 1A. To other customers intending to travel Business class with Alitalia — there is absolutely no value in traveling Business class on a short haul flight. I travelled together with my husband who used seat 1C. Below are my reasons: — we went through the exact same security and border control lines as economy class passengers — we waited in the exact same area as economy class passengers — we boarded the exact same bus as economy class passengers — we boarded the aircraft at the exact same time when the economy class passengers — we received no better service from the flight attendants than the economy class passengers — we waited for our checked bag exactly as the economy class passengers The only difference that I saw was the the food in the business class cabin was better than the food in the economy class cabin. At the time of booking the price for tickets for economy class for the same route and number of passengers was approximately 480 Euro. I paid approximately 1163 Euro. I do not think that the food (which is the only difference) was of the quality and/or quantity to cover the difference of almost 700 Euro.

I hear a lot of hate for seats by the back of the plane but honestly, this wasn’t bad at all. I found the seat comfortable — moreso than the Preferred and MCE seats that I had on other flights. My partner didn’t agree so YMMV. Legroom is okay (I am 5′ 6″ and my partner is 5’10»). View out the window is great. FAs sat in the row behind us and I could eavesdrop on their conversations (nothing bad, just interesting!) FAs on this trip were also the nicest.

Sat in 9D on a flight to Philly June 7, 2019. The seat is not bad. The legroom is sufficient for a 5′ 10″ fat guy with bad knees. My only complaint is that since it is a regional air flight there is no WiFi until the requisite cruising altitude.

Any MCE seat on this aircraft is a great choice, but 8A, 8D, and 8F are especially good as there isn’t a hard bulkhead limiting legroom. There is simply a half curtain blocking first class so you can push a bag under the seat in front of you and have effectively unlimited leg room too. 8C is not good though as it is in the aisle during boarding and doesn’t have any floor storage.

First time flying this route via American Eagle. Seats were tight but not Spirit-level unbearable for the hour long flight. Biggest issue is the tray table. It is huge. Comes down right at the level of your stomach and juts into your belly a little if you’re slouching forward. I can’t imagine bigger people find this very comfortable. Overhead storage is quite tight, if your flight is full and everyone has roller-bags, you’ll likely be checking at the gate. Otherwise, a fine plane for a quick flight.

I am a size 26, 5’10» woman, and seat 15A was one of the most miserable in-flight experiences I have ever had. My knees were crunched into the seat back so tightly that I actually scraped off skin trying to straighten them out. The average sized woman next to me wasn’t in much better shape. I could not put down the tray table. The armrest against the fuselage was open enough that I could scoot left and avoid encroaching on her seat, but the knee pain forced me to change positions so much that it hardly mattered. The seat is the same as in main cabin extra, so the lumbar support should be good, but the loss of 4″ of legroom completely negated that benefit. This is a great little regional jet in most respects. Actually has good overhead storage, premium seats offer benefits worthy of the premium fee, but AVOID the main cabin unless you are petite, short, or pre-pubescent.

I am a size 26, 5’10» woman, and this Main Cabin Extra seat was more comfortable than first class seats in most regional jets. More than enough leg room, was able to put down the tray table fully, and almost didn’t need a belt extender (missed it by an inch!). The arm rest against the fuselage was positioned in such a way that I could scoot under it a bit without discomfort, meaning I did not encroach upon the seat of my neighbor. Window properly aligned. Good lumbar support, too. This jet will definitely be my top choice for future business flights. BE CAREFUL that you don’t get a main cabin seat, though. Accidentally booked one of those for my return flight and truly suffered the whole trip.

Although this seat is bulkhead, there is still an existing storage space above the seat and under the seat in front of you. Leg room is not restricted because there is no actual bulkhead, The only thing separating Economy from business class is a curtain. The Tv is located directly behind the business class seat.

Seats 1A,2A, 3A all have restricted storage on the left side overhead. Not to worry however as you are first on the plane and there is plenty of overhead storage on the right side. I fly this plane often and typically sit preferred in rows 12 or 14 when I don’t get an upgrade and am able to find storage in business so I can grab my bags as I move forward on deplaning. Note that there is also a small cubby above 12c that forms the change in overhead storage width from business to economy (gets deeper), you can often stuff your laptop bag there for easy access

First experience flying on Embraer 175. Small plane with lots of legroom, adequate service and entertainment; however, very uncomfortable seats and it felt like it would come apart. The lack of back support made it impossible to sleep (not to mention a child who did not stop screaming during the whole flight). Hostess’ French announcements were very poor and I was praying that there wouldn’t be any French speaking passengers on board other than myself (It looks extremely unprofessional and it reflects bad on Canada to be represented by people with such poor language skills). Will avoid flying this class next time.

This was my first time being on Embraer 175 flight from Toronto to NJ. Can’t say much but it was fantastic travelling in this aircraft. Redesigned seats, personal TV monitor, nice leg room, and above all, the overhead bins can take a good size hand carry small suit case. The PA system is marvelous — so crisp and so clear. I wish I had couple of more hours on this flight.

Excellent Executive Class service, as usual. Very comfortable seating. Connected to the Embraer 190 from YYZ to YYC for a very pleasant 4 hour flight. Keep in mind, however, if flying business class this aircraft and the 190 do not have ovens for hot food service — cold meals only are provided in Executive Class.

Embraer-175 в васильковых цветах Белавиа: flycolumbus — LiveJournal

19 апреля 2018 года в Национальном аэропорту Минск приземлился самолет Embraer-175 в новой ливрее «Белавиа», преодолев шестнадцати часовой трансатлантический перелёт из Бразилии в Беларусь.

Обычай встречать первый самолет нового рейса водяными арками пришел в авиацию с флота, где подобным образом салютовали кораблям из новых стран или городов, впервые заходящим в порт. Изначально салют производился из настоящих орудий береговых батарей, но с исчезновением самих батарей, перешли на пожарные катера и автомобили…

Лайнер преодолел 12 000 километров из бразильского города Сан-Жозе-дус-Кампус с тремя посадками в Ресифи, на острове Сал и в Испании, проведя более 16 часов в полете, сменив 4 климатические зоны, успев пересечь 6 часовых поясов и израсходовав всего 25 тонн топлива. В авиакомпании рассчитывают, что увеличение количества воздушных судов данного типа со столь высокой топливной эффективностью позволит продолжить осуществление стратегии компании по планомерному снижению цен на авиаперевозки.

Сразу после приземления, сквозь водяную арку и до ворот авиационного ангара, самолёт сопровождали автомобили от компании «Автоидея» – официального дилера BMW и MINI в Республике Беларусь. Выбор автомобилей BMW оказался не случайным: не многие знают, что первоначально этот автомобильный концерн являлся производителем авиационных двигателей…

Лайнер пересёк Атлантический океан и прибыл в Национальный аэропорт Минск благодаря договору, подписанному ОАО «Авиакомпания «Белавиа» и бразильской авиастроительной компанией «Эмбраэр» на 52-м Международном авиасалоне Ле-Бурже 20 июня 2017 года. В рамках данной поставки в мае-июне 2018 г. в Минск также прибудут два Embraer-195.

Большое количество журналистов из разных стран собрались в этот день в минском аэропорту, чтобы поближе познакомиться с новым самолётом и лично поучаствовать в обещанном грандиозном празднике.

Праздник действительно удался и прошел с небывалым размахом! Это было грандиозное музыкальное и световое шоу, яркое и в прямом смысле зажигательное!

Отстояв достаточно внушительную очередь, нам с моим другом и коллегой Bizavmen всё же удалось ненадолго побывать внутри этого чуда бразильского авиапрома.

Прибывший Embraer-175 рассчитан на перевозку 76 пассажиров в двухклассной конфигурации: 12 мест в салоне бизнес-класса и 64 в эконом-классе. Концепция внутреннего убранства лайнера гарантирует максимальный комфорт для пассажиров за счёт конфигурации кресел 2+2 в экономическом классе обслуживания и 2+1 – в бизнес-классе. В Embraer-175 представлен тип бизнес-класса с жесткой перегородкой и увеличенным расстоянием между креслами.

Новоприобретенный самолет планируется использовать почти на всех рейсах маршрутной сети белорусской авиакомпании. Так, например, уже в конце апреля, «Белавиа» открыла прямые рейсы в Ростов-на-Дону и Казань, где как раз и используется данный региональный тип воздушных судов.

Авиакомпания «Белавиа» — крупнейший авиаперевозчик Республики Беларусь, базируется в Национальном аэропорту Минск и осуществляет из Минска регулярные рейсы в 49 аэропортов 28 стран. «Белавиа» создана 5 марта 1996 года и с 1997 года является действительным членом Международной ассоциации воздушного транспорта (IATA), а с 2010 – членом Ассоциации европейских региональных авиакомпаний (ERAA). Флот авиакомпании насчитывает 27 воздушных судов (пять Boeing 737-800, шесть Boeing 737-500, семь Boeing 737-300, три Embraer-175, два Embraer-195, четыре CRJ-100/-200).

Самолёты авиакомпании окрашены в васильковые цвета, а кили лайнеров украшает один из символов страны — василёк, так полюбившийся белорусским и иностранным клиентам. Именно этот синий полевой цветок увековечен в логотипе Беларуси как страны привлекательной для туризма! «Белавиа» показала фото своего первого Embraer 175

Заместитель гендиректора авиакомпании «Белавиа» Игорь Чергинец опубликовал в своем микроблоге фотографии первого самолета Embraer 175 в ливрее авиакомпании.

Делегация белорусского авиаперевозчика уже прибыла в Сан-Пауло с целью приемки авиалайнера. Новый самолет должен пополнить флот «Белавиа» уже на следующей неделе, уточнили в авиакомпании. Ему уже присвоили белорусский регистрационный номер EW-340PO, пишет avianews.com. 

Всего авиаперевозчик заказал два самолета Embraer 175, которые будут поставлены в Беларусь напрямую с завода на условиях операционного лизинга на срок 10 лет.

Воздушные суда будут поставляться в двухклассной компоновке салона, которая предусматривает 12 мест в салоне бизнес-класса и 64 в экономическом классе.

«До конца октября Embraer 175 можно будет увидеть практически на всех направлениях «Белавиа». С начала ноября данные самолеты больше всего будут задействованы на линиях из Минска в Лондон, Милан, Прагу, Стамбул, Санкт-Петербург, Баку, Ереван, Париж и Рим», — уточнил Игорь Чергинец.
